I develop WordPress websites around the content they need to present. That may be a small project website or a more structured collection of places, photographs, people and sources.
Structure before presentation
The work starts with the material, its relationships and the people who will maintain it. Pages, project records, categories and language versions need a clear structure so that the website can be updated as the material grows.
Connected applications
A website can provide the descriptions and records used by a map, link a photographic archive to places, or place a panoramic presentation within its wider subject. These connections are part of the project design.
The Kamilari project and Geotour Crete show different applications of that approach. The portfolio also includes accommodation and university work.
Discussing the scope
For a new website or a reorganisation, describe the existing material, current website and what needs to change. We can then identify the content work, application features and ongoing editing needs.
